Provence Gifts was established in September 2001 after I took a leave of absence from my job as a flight attendant. I wanted a business that would fit my lifestyle and still permit me to be a big part of my boys’ lives by attending their school activities and sporting events. Before my career with the airlines, I had studied fashion merchandising and planned on becoming a buyer in the high-end fashion industry. I always loved the world of fashion so it was a logical choice to create a business specializing in stylish jewelry and accessories, trendy handbags, personalized stationery, and unique gifts.
I started selling my products at local businesses, schools and gift shows. My instant success in this area prompted me to open my online boutique. My twenty-year career as a flight attendant helped me develop an eye for distinctive gifts. I often used my layover time to scout out the trendy and the one-of-a-kind gifts that would appeal to my customers.
My new Exclusively For You line includes personalized note pads, note cards, and checkbook covers that I design myself. This collection is an ideal gift for birthdays, holidays and special occasions.
